Join me in an embodied practice.

Yoga is the practice of being in our bodies and minds.

How we think and behave when challenged physically can offer us important insights. Yoga offers a safe space to explore this - to push our physical and mental limits in order to better understand ourselves. Through the poses we make with our bodies (asana) and the cadence of our breath (pranayama) we nurture a deeper understanding of ourselves focused on grounding and growth.

My Style & Background

I am a E-RYT 200 certified yoga, meditation, and sound bath instructor based on ancestral Duwamish land in Seattle. As a longtime athlete, I found yoga in 2010 after suffering repeated overuse injuries from competitive running. Yoga was entirely new to me then, and it took years of practice and study for me to truly appreciate the variety of benefits it has to offer.

After almost a decade of dedicated practice, I pursued teacher training in an effort to bring this healing, transformative practice to others. I am trained to teach a variety of yoga styles, including: power, vinyasa, hot style, yin and restorative and I’ve coached two rounds of Power Yoga Teacher Training. I am also trained in meditation, sound healing, and trauma-informed practices, which I in integrate into all of my classes.

When holding space for students, I aim to provide a blend of physical challenge and space to rest your body and mind. I encourage my students to apply what works for them and leave the rest.
