Join me in October for a grounding restorative sound bath as we welcome in shorter days and cooler temperatures.
What is Restorative Yoga? Restorative is a style of yoga where the body is fully supported by props - bolsters, blocks, blankets, etc. - in order to allow a deeper level of release and relaxation. In a restorative yoga class, you can expect to be lying on your back, side, or belly with the support of props for 10-15 minutes at a time.
What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath incorporates the the use of crystal bowls, bronze bowls, and chimes to "bathe" students in sound wave vibrations. Sound baths provide a deeper meditative experience that can create a sense of calm, focus, and grounding. Together, restorative yoga and a sound bath provide a unique space to rest your body and mind.
This class will held at Maven in Fremont and will be warm (75-80 degrees) but not heated. All levels, no experience required. We will provide you with the props you need for class. Dress in comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
